

Brian Byrd, MD
Dr. Brian Byrd founded Texas Family Medicine in 2001. He attended the University of Texas at Austin as an undergraduate and the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio where he received his medical degree. He is board certified in family medicine and is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. His calling is driven by long-term relationships with the people who trust him with their physical, mental, psychological, and spiritual health. His medical philosophy is patient-centered: understanding the patient as a human being who is precious because they are created in the image of God.
As an active member of his church, prison ministry, and supporting his wife’s non-profit work in human & sex trafficking, he is engaged in the local Fort Worth community. He and his wife have three grown children. In his free time, you will find Dr. Byrd grilling out or playing golf with family and friends.

Randy Brown, MD
Dr. Randy Brown has practiced family medicine since 2001. He attended Abilene Christian University and The University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio where he earned his medical degree. He joined Texas Family Medicine in 2007 and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. At only five years old, Dr. Brown knew he wanted to be a doctor. Dr. Brown believes patients tend to know themselves best which is why he engages in shared decision-making between doctor and patient.
Dr. Brown is active in his church, and is the founder of Rivertree Academy, a non-profit school in Como. He is preparing a teaching farm for under-resourced students and dreams of creating a diverse & committed community of people who will help those students succeed and thrive. He and his wife have seven children who they have raised by God’s grace.

Bob Caivano, FNP-BC
Bob Caivano attended Texas Tech University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. He worked seven years as an intensive care nurse before completing his Nurse Practitioner training at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2013, receiving honors. He later became board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. His extensive experience as an intensive care nurse assists him with the management of common diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol. Committed to his patient’s healthcare, Bob is known for his attentiveness and compassionate personality. He loves seeing his patients optimize their healthcare so that they can lead full lives and achieve their goals.
Bob considers it a privilege to care for the people in the Fort Worth area, where he grew up. He has raised his family here, where he, his wife, and three kids enjoy spending time outdoors. Bob and his family are active members at their local church.

Courtney Boone, PA-C
Courtney Boone studied biology at Abilene Christian University before making her way to UNTHSC where she completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) and graduated with honors. Her fascination with the human body peaked her interest in medicine.
Mrs. Boone is engaged with pop-up clinics that serve the Fort Worth homeless population, and she advocates for women of color throughout their pregnancies. When she is not working or volunteering in the medical field, Mrs. Boone is hanging out with her husband and two cats, Simba and Nala, or running along the Trinity River Trails.
